Open to anyone over 18 years of age whose ancestry traces back to the Greek islands of Icaria or Fournoi, the Pan-Icarian Brotherhood boasts 1800 members and 21 chapters in the USA and Canada. Their annual convention is held each year during Labor Day weekend somewhere in North America. The Pan-Icarian Youth group is open to those under 18 years of age. Ikaria is one of the original five Blue Zones, discovered by Dan Buettner, where people live the longest and are healthiest in the world.
