The New York Greek Independence Day parade represents the largest gathering of Greek-Americans outside of Greece itself and celebrates Orthodoxy, Hellenism, and Freedom. Sponsored by the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York. Runs from Fifth Avenue in Manhattan and features floats, bands, dance groups, dignitaries and celebrities.
